NC leader dies after a fall

Jammu, June 19 (UNI) A senior Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (NC) leader today died after he fell from the first floor of his house at Gandhi Nagar colony this morning, sources said.

NC leader Chander Dhar died due to an accidental fall from the first floor of his house early this morning, sources said.

In their joint condolence message, party patron Dr Farooq Abdullah, president Omar Abdullah and provincial president Ajay Sadhotra expressed shock and grief over the ''untimely and sad demise'' of Mr Dhar.

NC leaders expressed their heartfelt condolences and sympathised with the bereaved family and prayed for peace to the departed soul.
