KRV protests Headmaster's wanton act on a boy

Hubli, June 19 (UNI) Karnataka Rakshana Vedike activists today gheraoed the office of Deputy Director of Public Instruction at Gadag city, demanding action against a Headmaster of a primary school for allegedly throwing boiling water on the face of a boy.

They withdrew their protest following an assurance that the Headmaster would be suspended.

The Headmaster committed the crime due to his strained relationship with the parents of the boy.

The boy, who was burnt severely, was admitted to a hospital in the Gadag district.
