Jamia invites applications for Certificate, Diploma Courses

New Delhi, June 19 (UNI) The Jamia Millia Islamia University today invited application for its Certificate and Diploma Courses in Tourism and Travel Management.

The last date for submitting the forms for the one-year courses is July 31, a University spokesperson said.

''Given the great potential in the tourism industry and the many lucrative employment avenues open in air lines, travel agencies, hotels, tourist departments, tourist transportation, as well as ancillary services such as escort services and tour operators these courses are a major draw with students,'' she added.

Begun four years ago under the Career-Oriented Programmes of the UGC, the courses are of one-year duration each with 30 seats being offered in each course.

UNI
