2 children seriously injured

Tikamgarh, MP, June 19 (UNI) Two children, who were among about 10 people trapped under the debris following a wall collapse during deepening of an ancient tank here last night, received severe head injuries and were hospitalised at Gwalior, official sources said.

The children were playing nearby when the tank at Gaureya locality was being deepened as part of the government's Jalabhishek campaign. Chandrasekhar(12) and Akaksh Soni(7) were seriously injured.

Eight children and two adults, including JCB driver, were immediately rescued and hospitalised, sources added.
