Sikh pilgrims return from Pakistan
Jaito, June 17 (UNI) A delegation of Sikh pilgrims today returned from Pakistan after attending the Martyrdom Day of fifth Sikh Guru Arjun Dev at Dehra Sahib gurdwara in Lahore.
Bhai Mardana Memorial society president Harpal Singh Bhullar said the Sikh jatha, which had gone to Pakistan on June eight, had returned by a special train via Wagah border. It comprised hundreds of pilgrims.
Mr Bhullar said the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee sent four delegations to Pakistan every year. These were sent on the occasions of birth anniversary of Guru Nanak, Baishakhi, Martyrdom Day of Guru Arjun Dev and the death anniversary of Maharaja Ranjit Singh.
