Norway seizes Polish fishing boat for poaching
WARSAW, June 17 (Reuters) Norway's coastguard has seized a Polish fishing vessel off its North Atlantic coast and found it had a large quantity of undersized cod, PAP news agency said today.
PAP reported coastguard spokesman Christian Isaksen as saying the vessel Polonus, which had been fishing in the waters of the Svalbard archipelago, was escorted to Tromso and taken into police custody.
Polish maritime officials were not immediately available for comment.
