Jogi for thorough probe into girl's rape
Raipur, June 17 (UNI) Mahasamund MP and former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Ajit Jogi today demanded a thorough inquiry into the rape of a girl residing at the Government Pahadi Korwa Primary Girls' Hostel in Jashpur district's Pattakela village.
''The police probe is incomplete. I have received information that the case is of sexual exploitation and a sex racket. It is a matter of profound concern for society and the entire country that political leaders and officials are hand-in-glove in such activities targeting girls of the Korwa tribe, which is becoming extinct,'' he said in a statement issued here.
Mr Jogi warned that the Congress would ''not remain quiet'' if action was not taken against the guilty.
