Heavy rains in J
Srinagar, Jun 17 (UNI) Heavy rains lashed several parts of the Kashmir valley this evening, resulting in a drop in temperature.
Reports of rains were recieved from Srinagar and its adjoining areas, Gulmarg, Pahalgam, Kupwara, Baramulla, Anantnag, Katra, Udhampur, Poonch, Rajouri and Jammu.
Weather office here said the maximum temperature in Srinagar was recorded at 26.4 degrees Celsius while the minimum stood at 13.3 degrees Celsius.
It said Jammu recorded a maximum of 31.1 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 23.3 degrees Celsius.
Met office said Pahalgam witnessed a high of 22.3 degrees Celsius and a low of 9.4 degrees Celsius.
