Explosions in Israel near Lebanon border-police
JERUSALEM, June 17 (Reuters) Several explosions were heard in the area of the northern Israeli town of Kiryat Shmona, near the border with Lebanon, today but Israeli police said they could not say whether they were rockets fired by guerrillas.
Emergency services said there were no reports of casualties.
A year ago, Hezbollah guerrillas fired thousands of Katyusha rockets into northern Israel from Lebanon.
