Andhra Pradesh: Demand for houses to poor

Visakhapatnam, June 16: The All India Democratic Women's Association (AIDWA) president Ms Prabhavathi today alleged that the Andhra Pradesh Government had failed in providing house sites and houses for the poor.

Addressing a meeting here, she said the government had fallen back on its promises to the people and added that it was a failure on all fronts. She criticised the government for 'using force to suppress the stir of the people to get house sites.

City BJP women wing president Ms Paveni said women migrating to cities to make a living, were living under deplorable conditions and added that it was there right to own a house.
