TCS cited as Leader in Global IT Infrastructure Outsourcing Report

Kolkata, Jun 16 (UNI) Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), a leading global IT services, has been referred as a leader in global IT infrastructure outsourcing, according to Forrester Research Inc's, an independent research firm, report titled ''The Forrester WaveT: Global IT Infrastructure Outsourcing''.

The report states that ''the ascension of India-based service providers in the infrastructure space is now led by TCS. TCS has an enticing vision for infrastructure clients that builds on transparency and extends through to true business goals.'' The report also mentioned that ''TCS has a strong process and quality foundation, and the firm has rapidly grown its global infrastructure-delivery model in recent years to focus on remote delivery from India, China, Hungary, Brazil, and Uruguay. TCS also has a nearshore delivery capability in the US (Phoenix and New Jersey), UK (Guildford and Peterborough), and Luxembourg.

A company release here today said that the report has noted that ''TCS was well-positioned to leverage strong capability over the next several quarters to make an even more competitive run against traditional IT infrastructure powerhouses.'' More than 90 per cent of TCS' business comes from repeat customers, reflecting the strength of a global network delivery model that delivers the same standards, methodologies, excellence and expectations across the globe.
