Smack worth at Rs 44 lakh seized, 3 arrested

Lucknow, June 16 (UNI) The Special Operation Group (SOG) of police today busted a narcotic syndicate with the seizure of smack estimated at Rs 44 lakh in the international market and arrested three drug smugglers in Bareilly district's Kotwali area.

The arrested persons were identified as Raju, Guddu and Lakhan.

About 440 gms smack was recovered from them, police said here.

The trio had been sent to jail and further investigations were on.
