Road accident kills 7

Lucknow, June 16 (UNI) At least seven people were killed and two others injured in a collision between a truck and a sports utility vehicle (SUV) in Mainpuri district of Uttar Pradesh early today.

The incident occurred at Mainpuri-Shikohabad highway in Dannahar area, when a SUV collided head-on with a truck coming from opposite direction.

Wherein, five people, including the driver of the SUV died on the spot, two succumbed in the hospital, police said.

A search to nab the absconding truck driver was on.
