Rediff launches Blogshowcase

Mumbai, June 16: Community portal Rediff.com today launched ''Rediff blogshowcase,'' a platform that enables users to showcase blogs.

The portal has launched the product close to the 150 per cent growth gained in Rediff iland,- a social networking platform which has a current customer base of 5.6 million loggers.

Commenting on the new initiative, Manish Agarwal Vice President (Marketing) said, ''Blogging has emerged as a very powerful medium worldwide and bloggers are now acknowledged as the voice of the people. Even in India most of the readers are always looking for avenues to participate and access good quality blogs. Rediff Blogshowcase is an endeavor in this regard.'' The Blogshowcase will list contents as top stories, top bloggers and top blogs depending on the readers' votes.

Readers can choose by categories, tags or powerful search engines. The platform is accessible at http:blogshowcase.rediff.com.
