Precious metals rise on good demand

Mumbai, June 16: Precious metals rose on good demand in the closing session, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association said today.

Following are the closing rates of silver and gold: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade : Rs 18,375 (18,220), Gold (per 10 gm) Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 8,710 (8,655) Gold 99.9 purity pure Gold : Rs 8,760 (8,705).
