Militant attack in north Kashmir, 6 injured
Srinagar, June 16: In yet another militant attack, second during the past 24 hours, four security personnel and two civilians were injured in north Kashmir, official sources said.
They said militants today hurled a hand grenade at a Road Opening Party (ROP) at Ashtangoo, Sopore, about 55 km from here on Bandipora road.
Six people, including four ROP personnel were injured in the blast. They were hospitalised.
Militants yesterday attacked an Army convoy, killing two security personnel and injuring six others on the same road near Degree college Sopore.
Pakistan based Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT) had claimed responsibility for yesterday's attack.
