Maninder discharged from hospital
New Delhi, Jun 16 (UNI) Former test cricketer Maninder Singh was today discharged from the hospital after a week's stay during which the ace spinner was treated for injuries he sustained in an alleged suicide attempt.
Maninder left the Shanti Mukund Hospital in Preet Vihar area of East Delhi at about 1430 hrs, said sources.
He was feeling fine and was tension free when he left the hospital said its PRO N K Jain adding that he looked cheerful.
The former left-arm spinner was admitted to the hospital on June 9 after he had slashed his wrists in an alleged suicide attempt, which he denied in his June 11 statement to the police claiming it was ''an accident''.
Singh is reportedly passing through a rough patch due to domestic problems.
