Man murdered over property dispute

Akola, June 16 (UNI) A 45-year-old man was allegedly murdered by 3 persons at village Deulgaon in Akot tehsil of the district over a property dispute.

The body of deceased, identified as Gajanan Mahadeo Mondokar, was found by his wife Sangita yesterday. The body bore injury marks due to severe beating and stabbed wounds, police said today.

Mondokar was killed by sharp-edged weapons by Arun Narayan Gawande and his two sons Vivek and Gokul, who are absconding. An offence of murder under section 302 of Indian Penal Code (IPC) r/w Section 34 of IPC has been registered against the trio. A manhunt has been launched to nab the trio, police added.
