Bangalore, Jun 16 (UNI) Maintaining that performance at the England pitches would be noticed world-wide, former Indian Cricket Captain Saurav Ganguly, who is the part of the touring Indian cricket team to play test and one-day matches, has hoped to do well in the coming Ireland and England series.

Speaking to newsmen after visiting Showroom of Puma Sports India, here today Mr Ganguly said that playing in England always would be a best experience to anybody and going there to play both One-day and Test matches sans a team coach had added more responsibility.

However, Mr Ganguly said the absence of a coach did not make much difference as always he believed that the Captain was a key man to steer the team to success. On Rahul Dravid's capability, Mr Ganguly said that he had played more than 400 matches for the country and had enough cricket under his belt. " I am sure that Sachin being the vice captain, both knew the requirements for the team's victory." he said.

While appreciating the performance of Monty Panesar, the former Indian Captain said that he had performed consistently well and won the matches for England. "Monty's performance against West Indies, who tackled spin attack very well, was impressive" he said.

Mr Ganguly also added that he had played with Monty last year in County matches and had no problem to face him.
