Lalu to inaugurate line in Madhya Pradesh

Indore, June 16: Railway Minister Lalu Prasad will inaugurate the Western Railway's Ratlam-Neemuch section's roughly 140-km broad gauge line at 1000 hrs in Ratlam district headquarters tomorrow.

Mr Prasad would reach Ratlam at 0720 hrs. Among those present would be Ministers of State for Railway Naranbhai J Rathwa, R Velu and MoS (Food and Public Distribution) Kantilal Bhuria. Mr Prasad would return to New Delhi at 1100 hrs.

The gauge conversion cost Rs 171.73 crore.
