Karnataka activists arrested protesting employees harassment

Bangalore, June 16(UNI) City police arrested over 40 Kannada activists for staging protest against the alleged harassment of employees, before Le Meridien, a five-star hotel here today.

Police said activists of Karnataka Rakshana Vedike were staging demonstration before the hotel since morning, against the alleged harassment of the Kannadiga workers. However, no untoward incidents were reported.

The protestors were arrested and released later, police added.
