GPCC extends good wishes to Pratibhatai Patil

Panaji, June 16 (UNI) The Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) today congratulated Rajasthan Governor Pratibha Patil on her nomination as the UPA candidate for the Presidential election.

The GPCC, which met here for the first time after the party took over the reins of power in Goa, in a resolution, also extended its ''good wishes'' to her.

The resolution was moved by the party president and Minister without portfolio, Ravi S Naik and seconded by All India Congress Committee (AICC) secretary Shantaran Naik (MP) Goa Chief Minister Digambar Kamat was also present on the occasion.
