GIS net up 123 pc; recommends 1:2 bonus
Mumbai, June 16: City-based Geodesic Information Systems (GIS) has posted a net profit of Rs 93.75 crore for the financial year ended March 31, 2007 as against Rs 41.98 crore the previous fiscal, a rise of 123 per cent.
The company's board, which took on record the financial results, at its meeting held here today, also recommended 1:2 bonus shares to its shareholders, subject to an approval at the Annual General Meeting (AGM).
The company has announced a 10 per cent final dividend, to take it to a total 20 per cent dividend for the year.
GIS, an innovator in software products with focus on information communication and entertainment (ICE), has recorded a total turnover of Rs 177.06 crore during the financial year ended March 31, as compared to Rs 100.41 crore in the corresponding period last year, a company release said.
