Fake currency seized, 2 held

Dharwad, Karnataka, June 16 (UNI) Police today seized fake currency totalling Rs ten lakh and arrested two persons in this connection here.

Police said following a tip off, they raided a house at Nehru Nagar and seized the cash in the turn of Rs 500 notes, computer and other equipment used for printing fake currency.

The arrested were identified as Irfan Syed and Javind Hussain Maniar.

A search was on to nab the remaining members of the racket, police added.
