9 IPS officers transferred in UP

Lucknow, Jun 16 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh government this evening transferred nine Indian Police Service (IPS) officers here.

SSP, Muzaffarnagar Rajeev Sabharwal has been shifted as SP, Inter State Border Police, Lucknow; Ajay Anand, who was on waiting list is the new SSP, Muzaffarnagar; Inter State Border Police, SP Amitabh Thakur has been sent to the Vigilance Establishment in the same capacity.

Commandant, 26th Batalion PAC Sugreev Giri is SP, Sonebhadra; SP Kushinagar S R S Aditya is the new SP of Bijnore, while earlier incumbent Ashok Kumar Singh (II) has been sent to Mainpuri in the same capacity replacing B S Meena, who has been appointed as SP, Economic Offences Wing, Kanpur.

Meanwhile, M B Karnadhar has been sent to Kushinagar as SP, while the transfer of Sant Kabir Nagar SP Aparna S S as SP, Vigilance Establishment has been cancelled.
