Srinagar, Jun 16 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir government has ordered the suspension of 26 employees after they were found absent from duty in north Kashmir, official sources said today.

They said tehsildar, Handwara, in the frontier district of Kupwara, during his inspection to various government offices, including Irrigation, Public Health Engineering (PHE), Sub-district hospital and Municipal Committee, found 26 employees unauthorisedly absent from duty.

Mr Handwara ordered immediately disciplinary action against the absentees.
