Two students booked for sodomy, blackmail

Karnal, Jun 15 (UNI) Police have booked two students of a leading public school here for allegedly sodomising their classmate on a knife-point and then blackmailing him by recording the act on their cellphones.

The police said here today that the victim student's father had filed an FIR alleging that cash and jewellery worth lakhs were fleeced from his son who was blackmailed for about nine months by the two class 11th students.

A case under sections 377, 384, 506 and 120B has been registered against the accused. Their mothers have also been booked for conniving with them, police said.

The boy was allegedly sodomised in October last and had since been blackmailed by the duo on the basis of the film captured on their cell phones.

He began to meet their demands by giving them money through the ATM account of his father and even stole gold jewellery from his house.

However, the victim's father, a commission agent in the local vegetable market, grew suspicious and forced his son to come out with the truth.

No arrests have been made so far, the police said.
