Two Kashmiri CDRS of HM surrender at Doda

Jammu, June 15 (UNI) Two top Kashmiri Commanders of Hizbul-Mujahiddin (HM) militant outfit today surrendered before the security forces at Doda in Jammu and Kashmir, police said.

SSP Doda Manohar Singh told UNI that two Hizbul Mujahiddin commanders, namely Ghulam Hussain alias Jaffar and Abdul Gani alias Younis of Pahalgam in Kashmir valley, laid down their weapons before DIG Doda-Udhampur Range I P Mohanty.

The militants were active since 1995 and 2000 respectively, he added.

They also handed over an AK-56 rifle, Three magazines, two Hand Grenades, One hand grenade thrower, and two walkie-talkie sets, besides other material, the SSP said.
