Three get life term for dowry death

Ambala, June 15 (UNI) A local court awarded life imprisonment to the husband of Rajinder Kaur along with her mother-in-law and father-in-law in a bride-burning case here today.

Rajinder Kaur had stated in her dying statement that she was tortured for dowry and her husband Harjinder and his parents had doused her with kerosene and set her on fire on the night of March 10, 2006.

She was admitted to the MM medical college hospital here where she died on March 17.
