Sardinia train cash kills two Britons and driver

Caligari, Italy, June 15: Two British tourists and an Italian train driver died today when two trains collided on the island of Sardinia, police said.

Police did not give further details of the three victims of the crash, in which four more people were badly hurt. The fire brigade said it occurred at 7.35 a.m. (1105 hrs IST) between the towns of Bortigali and Birori in the central province of Nuoro.
