Rupee opens flat at 40.90/91 per dollar

Mumbai, June 15: Rupee opened almost flat at 40.90/91 against US currency in a quiet trading at the Interbank Foreign Exchange (Forex) market today.

The local currency touched the low of 40.96/97 during the course of trading in the morning, but quoted at its opening level currently, forex dealers said.

''Market is waiting for latest inflation figures, before taking next move,'' said a senior forex dealer at a leading private Forex firm.
