RSIL announces 5-for-1 stock split

Mumbai, Jun 15 (UNI) Indore-based Soya processer, Ruchi Soya Industries Limited (RSIL), today announced a subdivision in the company shares from the current face value of Rs 10 to 5 shares with face value Rs 2 each.

RSIL informed bourses that the board of directors who met here reached a decision in this regard.

RSIL is the producer of popular brands Nutrela, Ruchi Gold, Mahakosh and Sunrich.

The company is aiming bigger investor base and retail participation from the stock split that will take the total shares to 18,23,90,060 shares from the earlier 3,64,78,012.

''The company is expecting greater demand for shares both from the Institutional and Retail Players,'' said RSIL MD Dinesh Shahra.

Established in 1986, Ruchi Soya Industries Limited is a fully integrated Soya processor and is the flagship company of the Ruchi Group.

The group has six port-based refineries in Patalganga, Manglore, Chennai, Kandla, Kakinada&Haldia and has an annual turnover of Rs 8,915 crores.
