Punjab National Bank net up 6.38 pc

New Delhi, June 15 (UNI) India's second largest bank Punjab National Bank today said it has clocked a 6.38 per cent growth in its net profit at Rs 1,630.05 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007 compared to Rs 1,532.17 crore for the previous year last fiscal.

Its total income stood at Rs 12,800.64 crore, up 15.89 per cent for FY06-07 from Rs 11,045.30 crore.
