PM takes oath as Rajya Sabha member

New Delhi, June 15: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who was recently elected to the Rajya Sabha for the fourth time from Asom, today took oath as a Member of the Upper House.

Rajya Sabha Chairman Bhairon Singh Shekhawat administered the oath in his Parliament House chamber.

Dr Singh was first elected to the Rajya Sabha in 1991 and subsequently in 1995, 2001 and 2007.
