Monsoon likely to break over MP by June 21
Bhopal, June 15 (UNI) The Southwest Monsoon is likely to break over Madhya Pradesh by June 21, Regional Meteorological Centre Director D P Dubey said today.
''The present showers are pre-monsoonal. A monsoonal system has advanced further in neighbouring Maharashtra while another system is likely to be created over the next two to three days,'' he told UNI.
June 13 is considered the Monsoon's date of arrival over this state but it has been delayed over the past few years. Last year, it broke on June 29 but was healthy.
