Metro services between Moti Nagar and Tilak Nagar affected
New Delhi, Jun 15 (UNI) Metro rail services between Moti Nagar and Tilak Nagar stations on Line-3 were affected for about 25 minutes this afternoon due to a technical fault.
The fault occurred at 1328 hrs when the pantograph of a train, which draws power from the overhead line, dropped, a DMRC spokesperson said.
The train was taken to a siding for checking, he said.
Normal services resumed at 1351 hours. However, four trains were delayed during this period because of the fault.
It is suspected that the fault may have occurred when some foreign object fell on the OHE wire causing break in contact with the pantograph of the train.
Train operations on Line 1 and 2, however, remained unaffected, the spokesperson said.
