Lawyers protest against book on Basaveshwara's birth

Hubli, Jun 15 (UNI) City Advocates today boycotted the court proceedings demanding ban of a book in which depiction of the birth of Basaveshwara, a 11th century social reformer, attracted widespread protests.

The book 'Anudeva Horaganavanu' written by Jayaprakash Banjagere kicked up controversies on the claims of birth of the social reformer.
