Food poisoning: 42 students hospitalised

Belgaum, June 15 (UNI) About 42 students were hospitalised on taking ill after partaking a mid-day meal at a school in Nesargi in Belgaum District of Karnataka today.

Police said it was suspected that part of the food supplied by an agency, was stale as of the total 208 students only 42 took ill.

District Health Officer Dhanawadkar told UNI that all those admitted were out of danger. ''It was a clear case of food poisoning and the food samples were sent to Bangalore for chemical analysis." UNI
