Euros, jewellery stolen from house

Puducherry, June 15 (UNI) Miscreants entered a house at Rainbow Nagar and decamped with cash and jewellery last night.

According to police, Margarette, an employee of the education department, who took voluntary retirement was residing at the house alone as all her relatives were in France and US.

The burglars gained entry into the house by breaking the back door and made away with 30 sovereigns of jewellery and some Euros kept in the almarah.
