Doctors should not forget humanity: Jaiswal

Allahabad, June 15 (UNI) Union Minister of State for Home Sri Prakash Jaiswal today said that while treating a patient the doctors should not forget humanity.

Addressing a gathering after inagurating the newly constructed building of a private hospital here, Mr Jaiswal said the role of a doctor was important in society as it concerned the health of people.

He said the medical profession was a noble one and the medical community should always keep this fact in mind, while treating a patient, especially poor and downtrodden.

Earlier, Allahabad Mayor Chaudhary Jitendra Nath Singh welcomed the minister.
