BSF constable arrested for raping minor

Shillong, Jun 15 (UNI) Meghalaya police has arrested an Indian frontier guard constable Dhaemendra Singha for allegedly raping a 14-year-old girl, a domestic help of a senior BSF official, police said today.

Singha, a BSF constable of 67 battalion, was arrested from BSF Asom and Meghalaya headquarters here. He was handed over to the state police yesterday, a police official said.

Meanwhile, police have started to glean information from erring security personnel.
