Bail granted to CPI leaders

Vijayawada, June 15 (UNI) A lower court granted bail to the CPI leaders, including its Andhra Pradesh State Secretary K Narayana, here this evening.

Chief Metropolitan Magistrate N Raja Prasada Baba granted the bail to the CPI leaders, against whom the police registered cases under sections 353 and 447 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

The CPI leaders were arrested when they forcibly occupied about 13 acres of Kanakadurga temple and Balaji matam lands at Rajarajeswaripet here as part of their land occupying agitation.
