2 injured in lightning strike

Anand, June 15 (UNI) Two persons suffered burn injuries today evening when lightning struck a field near Vainak Talavadi on the Anklav-Ambali road, 20 km from here.

Mahesh Chandu Jadhav (18) and his sister-in-law Saraben Ashokbhai Jadhav (22) were working in the fields when lightning struck them.

Saraben was discharged from the hospital after receiving treatment while Mahesh has been shifted to the SSG Hospital in Vadodara as he has sustained severe burn injuries, police said.
