Chhattisgarh: Villager killed by naxals

Jagdalpur (Chhattisgarh), June 14: A villager was killed by naxals on the suspicion that he was acting as police informer at Matelaguda village in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh, police said today.

More than 50 ultras reached Gote Santi's house on June 12 night and stabbed him to death.

Earlier, the naxals had beaten four labourers, who were working near the village and warned them that they would not be spared if they didn't stop government work.

Meanwhile, a naxal, Sagnu Raut, was arrested near Chingnar village in Bastar district on June 12.
