Trains to ply on Ratlam-Neemuch section from June 16

Mandsaur, MP, June 14 (UNI) After a gap of nearly eight months, trains would start plying on the Ratlam-Neemuch Railway Section after Union Rail Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav waves green flag to a train on the newly-converted broad gauge rail line on June 16.

Union Minister of State for Agriculture Kantilal Bhuria, Minister of State for Railways Naranbhai Rathwa and Mandsaur MP Lakhminarayan Pandey would be present on the occasion.

Ratlam Rail Division Manager Prabhat Kumar Vajpayee said the main function would be organised on platform number four at 1000 hours on June 16.

Later, the train will leave from Ratlam to Neemuch from platform number five.

Plying of trains on the rail division had been stopped from October 1, 2006, in view of conversion of metre gauge into broad gauge.
