Sun TV sings broadcast agreement with Nimbus

New Delhi, June 14: Tamil Nadu-based Sun TV Network Ltd has signed an exclusive cable and satellite channels agreement with media giant Nimbus Communications to broadcast live feed of the ODI matches of the Ireland Series commencing on June 23.

This is a long term agreement with Nimbus with respect to any series over cricket seasons 2007-2008 to 2009-2010 in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam for which Nimbus has the rights.

The matches between India, Ireland, South Africa and Pakistan will be telecast on Sun News with Tamil commentary, Gemini news with Telugu commentary and Udaya Varthegalu with Kannada commentary, the company said in a communique to the BSE.
