Slver, Gold recover
Mumbai, June 14 (UNI) Silver and Gold today recovered on good demand from retailers with the white metal edging up by Rs 80 per kg and Gold shot up by Rs 45 per ten gm on the Bombay Bullion Association.
Silver fineness .999 opened up at Rs 18,220 on higher advices.
Later, it rose further and closed at Rs 18,230, gaining Rs 80 from yesterday's close of Rs 18,150.
In London, Silver also moved upward at USD 12.97/13.00 per troy ounce against USD 12.92/12.95 per troy ounce in New York.
Similarly, standard Gold (99.5) and pure Gold (99.9) opened high at Rs 8,645 and Rs 8,695 per ten gm respectively on fresh buying support.
Later, the yellow metal remained steady on moderate demand and closed at the same level, gaining of Rs 45 each from its last close.
In London, Gold improved at USD 645.20/648.00 as compared to USD 643.00/646.00 per troy ounce in New York on Wednesday.
