Police arrests four, including a woman under NDPS, Excise Act

Hoshiarpur, Jun 14 (UNI) Police today arrested 4 people, including a woman, under various sections of the NDPS Act and the Excise Act and seized huge quantity of smack and liquor from them last night.

According to the police sources, Hariana Police arrested Tilak Raj of Jalandhar, near Dadiana Kalan and seized 50 gram smack from him.

Dasuya Police arrested local resident Shakti after seizing 7 gram smack from him.

Tanda Police arrested Jaswinder Singh of Jalalpur and Ram Kali of Tanda and seized 6180 ML illicit liquor each from them.

Separate cases have been registered against them. Sadar Police also arrested Kehar Singh of Kahari and seized 30 bottles of Rum of various brands from him.
