Minor raped by three in South Delhi

New Delhi, Jun 14 (UNI) In the second incident in last three days, a minor was gangraped by three men in Green Park area of South Delhi, the same district where a 17-year-old was assaulted by three men on June 11.

The 14-year-old girl, reportedly a rag-picker, was forcibly taken to the basement of an under-construction building in Green Park under Hauz Khas police station on June 12 morning and raped by three men, said a senior police official.

The three accused, of which two were labourers working in the building in 'M' Block, have been arrested today, he added.

Sources said all the three took turns to rape the victim, who was roaming in the area, and while one assaulted the girl the rest guarded the 'entrance'.

In her complaint, filed at Hauz Khas police station on Tuesday last itself, the victim alleged she was threatened that she would be killed if she disclosed the incident to anyone.

She was later medically examined at the AIIMS and the arrests made today, sources added.

Earlier, on June 11, a 17-year-old girl was raped by three men at a tennis court in Africa Avenue under the same Hauz Khas police station.

The victim, a maid working in Katwaria Sarai, had come to a closeby park when she was allegedly lured by the three and raped.
