Man held for murdering wife

Surat, June 14 (UNI) A man was arrested today by Salabatpura police here for allegedly murdering his wife suspecting her fidelity.

Suresh Nurji Nayak suspected that his 40-year-old wife Premila had an affair with a youth, and attacked her with a wooden pole, police said.

Premila was severely injured and died on the spot, police said.

The man was arrested this morning.
